It started because the gates open at 7. By spring we were four. By summer we had a name we never officially agreed on. By autumn there was a WhatsApp group.
The rule, unwritten: no one is dropped. Pace groups split, but everyone meets at the coffee cart at the end.
Two years in, three of us have run our first half marathons. One has run a full one. We still don't know exactly when we became a club.
"The rule, unwritten: no one is dropped."
